The Resort
The all-inclusive that shattered
every stereotype.
Grand Velas Los Cabos is a tier-one, ultra-luxury AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star all-inclusive resort universally regarded as one of the best of its kind in the world. It earns that reputation by pairing unlimited, hyper-premium amenities with a MICHELIN-starred restaurant, a 35,000 sq ft spa, and an extraordinary 3-to-1 staff-to-guest ratio — all included in the rate.
The resort's 307 suites start at over 1,000 sq ft and are arranged in a dramatic half-moon architectural curve so that every single room faces the ocean. Seven à la carte restaurants replace the buffet entirely. This is all-inclusive at a level the category rarely reaches.
Is Grand Velas Los Cabos the Best All-Inclusive in Cabo?
Grand Velas Los Cabos holds the AAA Five Diamond, Forbes Five-Star, and MICHELIN Star simultaneously — the only all-inclusive resort in Mexico to achieve all three. For travelers who want the highest-tier all-inclusive experience in Los Cabos, it stands alone.
Where You Stay
1,000+ Sq Ft Suites in a Half-Moon of Ocean Views
Grand Velas features 307 sprawling, open-concept suites arranged in a dramatic half-moon architectural tier facing the water. Entry-level Ambassador Suites start at over 1,000 sq ft of indoor-outdoor living space — a size that rivals many resorts' premium categories. Every suite includes a daily replenished mini-bar, premium espresso setup, custom pillow menu, and 24-hour personal concierge.
The half-moon layout is an architectural deliberate — every suite tier is angled to maximize ocean sightlines, making it nearly impossible to have a room that doesn't face the water.
Award-Winning Gastronomy
MICHELIN-Starred Fine Dining — Included
Grand Velas runs seven world-class à la carte restaurants with no buffets and no reservation caps. The crown jewel, Cocina de Autor, holds a MICHELIN star and is helmed by internationally acclaimed two-star chef Sidney Schutte — a 10-course sensory tasting menu that is, extraordinarily, included in the all-inclusive rate.
All seven restaurants operate on a strictly à la carte basis. Guests can also book dinner at Loto — an upscale Asian culinary experience at the adjacent adults-only sister hotel, Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos.
Wellness & Leisure
35,000 Sq Ft SE Spa & Tiered Infinity Pools
The SE Spa is a Forbes-recognized 35,000 sq ft holistic sanctuary anchored by its signature seven-step hydrotherapy water ceremony. Three tiered oceanfront infinity pools include a fully adult-centric option with pool concierges delivering continuous refreshments. Families are equally served with high-tech Kids and Teens Clubs and a dedicated Baby Concierge.
Like most Tourist Corridor properties, the beachfront is scenic but ocean swimming is strictly prohibited due to dangerous drop-offs and strong rip currents. Chileno Beach and Palmilla Beach are the nearest safe swimming options.
Location & Access
Perfectly Centered on the Tourist Corridor
Grand Velas sits squarely in the Tourist Corridor, equidistant from both major hubs — 15 minutes from San José del Cabo's art district and historic downtown, and 15 minutes from Cabo San Lucas's marina and nightlife. The airport is a straightforward 35-minute drive with no downtown congestion to navigate.
The resort's 3-to-1 staff-to-guest ratio is a key differentiator — a level of attentiveness that elevates every interaction from check-in to the final farewell, and a primary reason it consistently tops global all-inclusive rankings.
