Grand Solmar Los Cabos
Two Properties, One Brand
Cliffside romance at Land's End.
Family resort on 834 Pacific acres.
Grand Solmar operates two distinct 5-star properties under the Solmar Hotels & Resorts portfolio, each designed for a different type of traveler. Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa is a hacienda-style retreat carved between dramatic granite cliffs and the Pacific at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula — walkable to the marina, dramatic at every angle. Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes Golf and Spa sits on 834 secluded acres north of downtown with an on-site Greg Norman championship golf course and a massive saltwater lagoon built around family adventure.
Both offer optional all-inclusive packages, fully equipped suite kitchens, and Pacific ocean views — but they couldn't feel more different in atmosphere. The right choice depends entirely on what you're coming for.
What Makes Grand Solmar Different from Other Cabo Resorts?
Grand Solmar operates two distinct properties — Land's End Resort (clifftop above the Pacific) and Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes. The Pacific-facing position at Land's End provides dramatic sunset views and proximity to El Arco that most Corridor resorts can't match.
Property One
Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa
Southern tip of Baja · Walkable to Cabo Marina
This hacienda-style property blends old-world Mexican architecture with high-end luxury, tucked between Cabo's iconic granite rock formations and the Pacific. Its 246 suites all include fully equipped kitchens and private ocean-view terraces. Seven swimming pools — including dramatic infinity pools that visually merge into the ocean — surround the property, alongside an adults-only pool and hot tubs.
The stilted beachfront Sea Spa cabanas are one of the most distinctive wellness setups in Cabo — treatments overlooking Solmar Beach and the Pacific horizon from elevated perches above the sand. Note that Solmar Beach itself is strictly non-swimmable due to extreme currents and undertows.

Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes Golf and Spa
834 acres · 15–20 min north of downtown Cabo
Formerly Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas, this expansive property focuses on family adventure and golf in a secluded, quiet setting away from Cabo's hotel corridors. The centerpiece is a massive saltwater lagoon equipped with waterslides, a rope swing, kayaking, and paddleboarding — a full-day activity environment that rivals dedicated water parks. The Solmar Golf Links, designed by Greg Norman, delivers an 18-hole championship experience on the property.
Dining at Pacific Dunes highlights Anica, a restaurant serving traditional Mexican flavors with panoramic ocean views — one of the stronger restaurants in the Solmar portfolio. The Sports Bar pays tribute to Cabo's historic marina culture with a rustic wood-and-metal aesthetic.
