The Restaurant
Edith Jiménez's third Cabo institution —
upscale Baja seafood with tableside theatre.
Tres Sirenas is the upscale seafood restaurant from Edith Jiménez — the same Cabo restaurateur behind Edith's and The Office on the Beach. Set in the El Médano district, a few blocks from Médano Beach, it occupies a beautifully lit nautical palapa courtyard with colorful tablecloths, a multi-level layout, and an upper Terraza Superior lounge. Live mariachi bands and local musicians rotate directly through the dining areas, playing table-to-table requests through the evening.
The kitchen prioritizes vivid presentations and flame-grilled Baja catch — Coconut Shrimp, Imperial Shrimp, Tornado Fish Vera Cruz, freshly shucked local oysters. The signature tableside Mexican Coffee flambé is a theatrical closer that the whole table tends to order once they see one arrive at a neighboring table. Tres Sirenas sits directly across from Edith's — worth knowing if your first choice is fully booked.
How Does Tres Sirenas Compare to Edith's in Cabo?
Tres Sirenas is Edith Jiménez's upscale follow-up to her original Edith's restaurant — same neighborhood, more polished room, tableside Mexican coffee flambé, and an Imperial shrimp preparation that regulars consider the dish of the two restaurants.
The Menu
What the kitchen does best
Complimentary Tequila or Seasonal Empanada
Guests are welcomed with a traditional house treat — either a selection of fine tequila or a surprise seasonal empanada from the chef before the menu is presented.
Coconut Shrimp & Imperial Shrimp
Two of the kitchen's most celebrated preparations — coconut-battered shrimp in the house style, and the more elevated Imperial Shrimp in a rich, complex sauce.
Tornado Fish Vera Cruz & Whole Red Snapper
The Tornado Fish Vera Cruz is a flame-grilled showcase of Baja catch with a classic Veracruz preparation. The fried whole red snapper is a crowd-favorite centerpiece plate.
Freshly Shucked Baja Oysters
Local Baja oysters shucked to order — a clean expression of the kitchen's ocean-to-table sourcing philosophy and a strong opening before the main courses.
Ribeye Steaks & Ribeye Tacos
Premium ribeye steaks served with baked potatoes for guests not going seafood, alongside upscale ribeye tacos as a hybrid option that pulls from both sides of the menu.
Mexican Coffee — Flambé Show
One of the dining room's most theatrical moments — the Mexican Coffee is prepared tableside with an interactive flame presentation. Order it; the show is part of the experience.
Before You Go
Pricing, booking strategy & the Edith's connection
Tres Sirenas operates in the splurge tier — dinner for two with wine commonly lands in the $150–$300+ range. Reservations via OpenTable are strongly recommended for evening tables; walk-ins can occasionally find seating at the upper Terraza Superior bar during early hours. Dress code is casual elegant — most guests wear collared shirts, resort wear, and evening dresses, though shorts are acceptable.
Tres Sirenas sits directly across the street from Edith's, Jiménez's flagship restaurant — if one is fully booked, the other is the natural alternative. Both carry the same family pedigree and operate at a comparable level of quality and service. The tableside Mexican Coffee is essentially mandatory — it's the dining room's most talked-about moment and worth ordering before the check arrives.
