Salvatore G's has been feeding Cabo San Lucas since 2004, when the Galluzzo family — with roots near Palermo, Sicily — set up a courtyard kitchen inside the Siesta Suites Hotel, one block from the downtown marina. From the street it looks like nothing special. Walk past the entry, though, and you step into a lively tropical courtyard of string lights, palm trees, and a restaurant that feels nothing like the resort strip outside.
The food is Sicilian-American with a Baja twist — think fresh local catch cooked in white wine caper sauce alongside the kind of lasagna that arrives weighing a few pounds and feeds the whole table. Portions are absurdly generous by design. Waiters will tell you to share everything family-style — and they're right. At moderate prices for dish sizes this large, the value ratio is hard to beat anywhere downtown.

The undisputed signature of the house — famously thick, layered high with meat, cheese, and a rich red sauce, easily weighing several pounds. Waiter-recommended for two to three adults per plate.
Tony Soprano Special
A mountain of spaghetti tossed with enormous hand-rolled Italian meatballs — one of the most-ordered dishes in the restaurant and exactly what the name suggests.
Daily Local Catch — White Wine Caper Sauce

The restaurant lives in the courtyard of the Siesta Suites Hotel — the street entrance doesn't reveal much. Once you're inside the courtyard, the atmosphere opens up completely: tropical palms, string lights, and the noise of a genuinely full and happy dining room. Reservations via OpenTable are strongly recommended for evenings; walk-in lines build fast, particularly during peak travel season.
Order one entrée per two people, maximum — the waiter will suggest the same. A table of four sharing two main dishes, a pasta, and the house bread lands in a very comfortable range for both the stomach and the bill. Save room for the complimentary Mexi-Italian closer — Amaretto and tequila in one shot — which the family sends to the table near the end of the evening.
