The Restaurant

Bougainvillea, bonfires & the Cabo Arch lit up at night —
Edith Jiménez's landmark institution.

Edith's is the flagship restaurant of Edith Jiménez — the restaurateur behind The Office on the Beach, Tres Sirenas, and the broader culinary identity of modern Cabo San Lucas. Set in a stunning open-air palapa one block back from Médano Beach, it fuses authentic Baja Californian cuisine with traditional Guerrerense flavors — a combination built around the signature mesquite wood-burning grill, organic local produce, and daily-caught Baja seafood.

The space is a maze of stone-walled terraces draped in bougainvillea, hand-blown glass lanterns casting warm color across candlelit tables, and distant views of the illuminated Cabo Arch at night. Classic Mexican trio bands rotate through the courtyard serenading tables. Reservations are mandatory — this is one of the hardest tables to get in Los Cabos during peak season.

What Makes Edith's Restaurant a Cabo Classic?

Edith's is the flagship restaurant of Edith Jiménez, Cabo's most recognized local restaurateur — a wood-fire mesquite grill serving lobster, shrimp, and meats in an open-air El Médano setting that feels distinctly local, not touristy.

The Menu

What to order — and what the table will talk about

Signature Platter

The Wally Special

The house centerpiece — a loaded sharing platter of grilled lobster tails, garlic shrimp, and tender mesquite-grilled chicken. Built for the table and one of the most ordered dishes in Cabo San Lucas.

The Grill

Mesoamerican Wood-Burning Grill

Edith's signature mesquite wood-burning grills infuse rich smoky depth into premium steaks, local fish, and proteins across the menu. The grill is the kitchen's identity.

Tableside

Caesar Salad — Prepared at the Table

Prepared completely from scratch tableside following a highly synchronized traditional recipe. A classic performance that most tables order even if they've seen it before.

Tableside

Mexican Coffee — Kahlúa, Tequila & Fire

An interactive after-dinner tableside flambé featuring Kahlúa and tequila — the same signature closer that made Tres Sirenas famous, performed here at the institution that originated it.

Seafood

Daily Baja Catch — Mesquite Grilled

Fresh seafood caught daily by local Baja fishermen, prepared over the wood-burning grill. The menu reflects what came in that morning and changes with the season.

Meat

Prime Imported Steaks

Edith's imports premium cuts for the grill alongside locally sourced proteins — the steakhouse side of the menu is taken as seriously as the seafood, and regularly exceeds $80+ for signature cuts.

Before You Go

The hardest table in Cabo — how to get it

Edith's is consistently one of the most difficult reservations in Los Cabos. Book directly through the restaurant's online portal weeks — or months during holiday season — before your arrival date. Entrees run $35–$80+ and signature platters like The Wally Special can exceed $100; dinner for two with wine commonly approaches $200–$350+. Dress code is enforced: casual elegant, no swimwear or athletic wear.

If Edith's is fully booked, Tres Sirenas — the sister restaurant by the same family — sits directly across the street and operates at a comparable standard. Order the tableside Caesar Salad first, The Wally Special to share, and the Mexican Coffee flambé to close the evening.
